Due to the complexity of heavy machining conditions, production of heavy-duty tool faces two common challenges: a wide range of specifications and the small demand for each specification. Thus, most heavy tools are custom-ordered as non-standard products, resulting in high costs, long lead times, and low standardization—posing a significant challenge for users.

Many customers have invested significantly in heavy-duty boring and milling machines equipped with BT60 Shanks. However, due to the lack of standardized heavy-duty tool holders, they are forced to use 60-to-50 adapters, drastically reducing the precision and rigidity in machining condition. As a result, in many machining scenarios, a much more expensive 60-shank machine performs worse than machines with a 50-shanks. This is a widespread issue in heavy-duty cutting, severely limiting the potential of many heavy-duty machines.

With years of experience in designing, manufacturing, and providing on-site application support for heavy-duty machining tools, Tecken deeply understands the need for a systematic solution to these challenges—the standardized production of heavy-duty toolholders. In recent years, after successfully developing a series of heavy-duty cutters, Tecken has expanded into the production of toolholder production, treating heavy-duty toolholder development as a foundational step in heavy-duty tool innovation.
